This unique camp offers an immersive and educational journey through Beijing, Cangzhou, and Inner Mongolia, allowing participants to explore the rich cultural and historical heritage of China while engaging in interactive activities. Detailed Program:
Days 1 to 4: Beijing – Cultural and Historical Exploration
- Day 1:
Discover the Forbidden City and the iconic Tian’anmen Square, immersing yourself in the imperial and modern history of China. - Day 2:
Explore the majestic Great Wall, where participants will walk along this iconic landmark and learn about its historical significance. - Day 3:
Visit the Summer Palace, followed by a stroll through Beijing’s traditional hutongs, offering a glimpse into daily Chinese life. - Day 4:
Tour the Olympic Park and the Yonghe Lamasery Temple, ending the day with a cultural evening featuring a performance of the Peking Opera.
Days 5 to 8: Cangzhou – Martial Arts Exchange
- Day 5:
Travel from Beijing to Cangzhou. Visit a renowned martial arts school and engage in an exchange with local students. - Day 6:
Participate in traditional martial arts classes, visit the Pangu Temple, and enjoy a vegetarian lunch. - Day 7:
Continue martial arts training, combined with a kayak ride on the canal, providing a fun and adventurous experience. - Day 8:
Attend a closing ceremony for the activities in Cangzhou, followed by a return to Beijing via high-speed train to continue the journey to Inner Mongolia.
Days 9 to 13: Inner Mongolia – Nomadic Immersion
- Days 9-10:
In Hohhot, participants will immerse themselves in nomadic culture:- Horseback riding, archery, and yurt construction.
- A photo session in traditional Mongolian attire and an introduction to cow milking.
- Preparing and enjoying Mongolian milk tea, capped off with an evening around a campfire.
- Day 11:
Take an excursion to the desert region of Xiangsha Bay and explore Xiansha Island. - Day 12:
Visit the city of Hohhot and stroll along Saishanglao Street, renowned for its artisanal shops. - Day 13:
Return to Beijing via high-speed train, followed by a city tour and shopping for souvenirs.
